Virtual Workshop to Support Children with Loved Ones in Hospice During Covid

This virtual workshop will provide caregivers with strategies to support child(ren) in maintaining a sense of connection to their loved one in Hospice. This workshop will focus on activities that may be used to help children and youth feel connected to their Person, despite the current isolation and quarantine protocols that exist.

For almost three decades, Debbie has combined her patient-focused clinical expertise with a well-developed business acumen. Her diverse health care experience has been formed through progressive positions in acute, long-term care and home care, specialty pharmaceutical, and medical device sales and technology clinical training roles.

For the last decade, Debbie has been a consultant in healthcare, and in 2015 founded Shaping Minds in Healthcare Inc. Her focus has been on observing, analyzing and recommending vital improvements in public and private sector healthcare organizations and customized medical equipment and technology training solutions for clinicians across a variety of healthcare settings. She has grown her passion, knowledge and expertise as an educator through focused adult education and staff development programs.
