Phenomenal Fund-Raising by Bishop Reding Student Association

The Bishop Reding Student Association has done some phenomenal fund-raising this year, and they have shared $30,000 they raised with 10 community charities. Townsend Smith Foundation members Jamie Harrison, Crystal Kelly, and Holly Lillico were delighted to accept a donation of $3,000 from members of the Student Association. Wonderful to meet these impressive folks, to share their energy and to see the leadership they’re taking!

Many thanks to the Catholic Women’s League at Holy Rosary Church

These hard-working women donated the proceeds of their 65th Anniversary Gala Dinner/Dance in November – over $6500! – to support building a residential hospice for Milton and Halton Hills.  Donors like you will help make our dream possible.

As outgoing President Nancy Fellows noted, it is fitting that on the CWL’s 65th anniversary in Milton they raised $6500 for our benefit. CWL executive members Nancy Fellows, incoming President Mary-Lou Nerbonne, Maria Reis, Margaret Doma, Jean Doiron, and Clare Cutrara were on hand to present the cheque to John Barrett and Holly Lillico of Townsend Smith Foundation. Lois Stubbs and Kathleen Dougan of the CWL were unable to attend. We are so grateful for their continuing efforts.
